			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Making a fully rigged cat is probably the single most tedious work I&#8217;ve ever put myself on to.<br />
If you look closely, you&#8217;ll see that I never before did a full 3d character. Both since I never had to and game companies reserve those jobs to the more experienced workers.<br />
A cat is even more complicated then a human, since it&#8217;s so much more dexterous and tends to stretch and shrink a lot. </p>
<p>At this point I have a fully rigged cat character (well, rigged enough for my purposes) but most of the extreme movement (read: like sitting decently or washing it&#8217;s private parts) can&#8217;t be reached without looking terrible. So I&#8217;ll have to go back and work on it more so at least Spike cat sit convincible.</p>
<p>Till that time, enjoy some positions I&#8217;ve rendered for your pleasure.<br />

<p>Thomas van den Berg was so kind to share his own toon-shader with me, and implant the facing-ratio element from the <a href="http://www.unifycommunity.com/wiki/index.php?title=XRay"> X-ray shader </a>from metervara. After fiddling with it he&#8217;s got my shader working.</p>
<p>With some tuning of my own I&#8217;ve added property functionalities to it and I&#8217;ve now got a fully functional, adjustable toon-shader with facing-ratio-contour in Unity. huzza!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The observant one would have noticed that all work on this site is dated at least seven months. This is because from that moment on I&#8217;ve been doing fill-time work at the student cultural umbrella organization Apollo. (Cultuurkoepel Apollo.) this includes standing for the rights of the many student cultural associations the university has.</p>
<p>This is very nice for me, but less for the viewers who wants eye-candies.</p>
<p>During the many months I&#8217;ve been working on a new Corporate identity for Apollo. Little did I know on what journey that would take me.</p>
<p><span id="more-75"></span> The idea phase</p>
<p>During a month I made a few handful idea&#8217;s. Most just figures of my imagination.<br />

<p>When the time had come, I presented this to the members of our group. some discussion followed and one of these ideas were taken. This was a huge win, since a lot of people wondered why they needed a new logo anyway?</p>
<h4>A new logo</h4>
<p>Well, with the idea at hand I started iterating it.<br />

<h4>Letter-paper</h4>
<p>Another month, another vote. To my surprise the gradient one was chosen. So, since this was going to be our new logo, I had to start with using it, in letter-paper for example.</p>
